This 4-hour workshop is an introduction to the ancient art of wax carving. You will learn how to design, transfer your design to the wax, carve, file, and give the desired finishing to a wax ring. Later on, this ring will be cast in sterling silver to create the final jewelry piece.
Wax carving is like sculpture for jewelry. It is a meditative technique that opens the possibility to infinite shapes, textures, and experimentation.

Whether you prefer adding intricate textures, engraving meaningful symbols, or even capturing your own fingerprints for a personal touch, the choice is entirely yours! This workshop is about bringing your artistic vision to life, as you get a glimpse of what the lost wax technique is all about.
This course will give you the tools to take the first firm steps in the world of jewelry design. It is designed to help you go from zero to holding your first jewelry piece in your hands within a very short time. Whether you already have some experience with a jeweler's saw or are completely new to it, you will find this course invaluable as it will take you through step by step how to set up a studio at home, design, and create a professional-looking jewelry piece.
