Ring Sizing

Guidelines

Please ensure you provide the correct ring size when you place an order.

The most accurate fitting can be offered by your local jeweler who can provide a size by measuring your finger, or another ring of the correct size.

You can also email me with your postal address to request a plastic ring gauge with which you can measure your own size.

Tips

  • Your finger size can change during the day – The best time to measure is at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest. Do not measure when your hands are cold as your fingers could be up to half a size smaller than usual.

  • If you are buying a gift, the best way to establish ring size is to borrow a ring of theirs (from the correct finger!) and take it to your local jeweler for an accurate measurement.

  • A wider band will feel tighter than a narrower band. If in doubt, get in touch and I can advise you.

  • Your ring should fit your finger comfortably: it should be snug, but still loose enough to slide over your knuckle.

  • If you have received your order and your rings do not fit comfortably, I can offer a first re-size free of charge. Re-sizing is not possible for some styles.

If you have any questions regarding ring sizing, please get in touch and I’ll will be happy to assist.  info@joseanglada.com

Jewelry Care

Good quality pieces can last a lifetime. With just a little bit of care, you can protect your jewelry and keep it looking its best for the time to come.

General care:

  • Store your jewelry in a jewelry box away from air, moisture, dust, and grime to prevent it from tarnishing.

  • Keep your pieces in separate containers or pouches to prevent items from rubbing against each other. Take care not to drop or scratch your pieces.

  • Keep your jewelry away from chemicals. Some perfumes, hairspray, and lotions can affect their beauty and shine.

Cleaning sterling silver:

Your jewelry pieces will benefit from a general clean from time to time. Soak the piece in warm soapy water for a minute or two. If there is stubborn dirt you can use an old soft toothbrush to gently brush the dirt out. Follow with a rinse and dry it with a soft tissue. Make sure it is completely dry to avoid oxidation. If you wish, use a silver dip or a silver polishing cloth and gently buff your piece back to a shiny finish.

Tips On Caring for Your Gold Plated Jewelry

As it is a thin layer of gold, extra care should be taken to maximize its lifespan and decrease the chances of wearing out:

  • Avoid any contact with water, perfume, hairspray, and sunscreen.

  • Do not forget to remove your gold plated jewelry before any physical activity.

  • Avoid chemical cleaners and antibacterial soaps. They may contain substances that would quickly tarnish your jewelry.

We are happy to refresh the gold plated coat if needed.
