Intensive Wax Carving Course
This two-day intensive course is a comprehensive experience in learning the ancient art of wax carving from start to finish. It’s designed for anyone looking to learn the entire process of jewelry making, from designing in wax to casting in silver.
By the end of the workshop, you will have a finished piece of jewelry (e.g. a ring, earrings, necklace) and the knowledge to continue your own practice. I will also provide detailed information about the tools needed to get started, along with practical advice on where to cast your future pieces.
If you’d like to get a taste of the art of wax carving before committing to the course, my in-person Wax Carving Workshop is the perfect introduction. Held twice a month, it gives you a fun, hands-on experience.

Course Schedule
Day 1 - All about Wax.
It is a 6-hour class where you will be introduced to soft and hard waxes. We will experiment with both to get an understanding of what styles can be achieved with each type of wax and ways of working them. After the introduction and experimentation, you will start to work on your jewelry piece. You will learn how to design, transfer your design to the wax, carve, file, and give the desired finishing to a wax ring, earrings, or pendant. Later on, this jewelry piece will be cast in sterling silver.
Day 2 - Finishing off the jewelry piece.
In this 4-hour class, you'll learn how to transform raw casts into a polished piece of jewelry:
Learn techniques such as cutting the canal, filing, sanding, and polishing
Hands-on practice with each step of metalworking
Transform your raw metal into a shiny accessory
By the end of the class, your ring will be polished and ready to wear
