Wax Carving Workshop

This 4-hour workshop is an introduction to the ancient art of wax carving. You will learn how to design, transfer your design to the wax, carve, file, and give the desired finishing to a wax ring. Later on, this ring will be cast in sterling silver to create the final jewelry piece.

After the class, each participant will have a finished wax model and the knowledge to continue their own practice. The silver rings will be ready for pick-up 3 weeks after the class.

Wax carving is like sculpture for jewelry. It is a very meditative technique that opens the possibility to infinite shapes, textures, and experimentation.  I will share with you everything I know about this fascinating technique so that you can carve amazing pieces of jewelry in no time.

This workshop is tailored for beginners as well as more experienced makers who want to improve their techniques.

The price includes all tools and materials to make a sterling silver ring.

Once cast, the silver ring will be filed and polished by me. Your piece will be ready for pick-up 2 weeks after the workshop. All The rings come packed in an eco-friendly recycled box.

The classes are healed in English and for a reduced group of 7 students.
