Introduction to metalworking
This 3-hour workshop is an introduction to metalworking. You will learn how to design, hand-pierce, and give the desired finishing to a pendant, brooch, or small metal object.
After the class, each participant will have a finished product and the knowledge to continue their own practice. No previous experience is needed.
Hand-piercing is a method used to translate a drawing into a jewelry piece, cutting out the desired shape from a metal sheet. This exciting technique is the starting point for jewelry making.
This workshop is tailored for beginners as well as more experienced makers who want to improve their techniques.
Price includes all materials to make a bronze piece of jewelry. If you decide to work on sterling silver, an extra fee will be charged on the day of the workshop depending on what you decide to make. (You'll need to let us know beforehand.)
The classes are healed in English and for a reduced group of students.
If you have questions or want to receive more information send us an email. We'll be happy to answer all of your doubts.
